Kristin Whitfield

Kristin Whitfield is a speech-language pathologist who has been fortunate to work with a wide variety of individuals with complex communication needs over the years. At DynaVox Mayer-Johnson her role is to provide a variety of opportunities to learn more about how to use augmentative and alternative communication in everyday situations. Technology is great, but only when you know how, when, and why to use it. Whether Kristin is teaching an online web class or in another state conducting a workshop, she loves hearing stories about how AAC is making a difference in people’s lives.
When she’s not at work, she loves spending time with her three boys: Alexander (her husband), Tristan (4½) and Sebastian (2½). She’s also been remodeling her house and is happy to say that there are only two rooms left to paint. Even her 2½ year-old knows to say “no more wallpaper!”
